Text:  Romans 16:25  Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

CALLED BY PAUL’S GOSPEL

2 Thessalonians 2:14  Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory [approval, honor] of our Lord Jesus Christ.

APPROVAL, PRAISE

John 12:43  For they loved the praise [honor, worship] of men more than the praise [worship, luke 14.10] of God.

PAUL’S GOSPEL

Romans 1:16-18  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation (so great salvation, Heb 2:3) to every one that believeth [present active participle]; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.  17  For therein (gospel of Christ) is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.  18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness [unjustness] of men, who hold [down] the truth in unrighteousness [unjustness];

THE CALLED NEED ESTABLISHED

1 Peter 5:10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal [agelasting] glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

PERSEVERE

James 5:8  Be ye also patient [persevere]; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

NO ROOT

Matthew 13:20-21  But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word (mysteries of the kingdom), and anon with joy receiveth it;  21  Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

ESTABLISHED WITH GRACE

Hebrews 13:9  Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

UNBLAMEABLE ESTABLISHED HEARTS

1 Thessalonians 3:13  To the end he may establish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming [presence] of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

HONOR FOR THE AGE

2 Timothy 2:10  Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal [agelasting] glory [praise, honor].

PRAISE AND APPROVAL

Matthew 25:21  His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM

Matthew 5:20  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM

Matthew 6:33  But seek [present active] ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

JUSTIFIED ARE UNCHARGEABLE

Romans 8:33-34  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.  34  Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

RAISED AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION

Romans 4:25  Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

JUSTIFIED BY FAITH

Galatians 2:16  Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed [aorist] in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law [moral]: for by the works of the law (moral law alone) shall no flesh be justified.

JUSTIFIED

Luke 18:13-14  And the publican, standing afar off, … smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  14  I tell you, this man went down to his house justified

GOD WILL JUDGE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

Romans 2:16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

THAT WE MAY BE ACCEPTED

2 Corinthians 5:9-11  Wherefore we labour [to love or seek after honor], that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted [well pleasing] of him.  10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.  11  Knowing therefore the terror [fear] of the Lord, we persuade men (who will appear there);…

WARNING EVERY MAN IN CHRIST

Colossians 1:28  Whom we preach, warning every man (in Christ), and teaching every man (in Christ) in all wisdom; that we may present every man (in Christ) perfect in Christ Jesus:

IF YOU CONTINUE IN THE FAITH

Colossians 1:22-23  In the body of his flesh through [the] death [thanatos], to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:  23  If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

THE HOPE OF HONOR

Colossians 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory [honor, praise]:

GRACE TO STAND AND REJOICE IN HOPE

Romans 5:2  By whom (Jesus Christ) also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory [praise, honor, approval] of God.

GRACE MUST REIGN

Romans 5:21  That as [the] sin [lawlessness] hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

GRACE SHOULD HAVE AUTHORITY

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

HAVE GRACE

Hebrews 12:28-29  Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us [may we] have [present active, subjunctive] grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably [well pleasing] with reverence and godly fear:  29  For our God is a consuming fire.
