Text:  1 Corinthians 11:26  For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

BREAKING OF BREAD

Acts 2:42  And they continued [imperfect active, relentless],  stedfastly [present active] in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK

Act 20:7  And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, …

CLEANSING IN THE UPPER ROOM

John 13:4-5  He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.  5  After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

IF I WASH THEE NOT

John 13:7-8  Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.  8  Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

WALK WITH ME

Revelation 3:4-5  Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.  5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

SIT WITH ME

Revelation 3:21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

WASHING

1 Corinthians 11:28-30  But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.  29  For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation [judgment] to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.  30  For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

HIS BLOOD CLEANSETH US

1 John 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS

1 John 1:8-9  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

FELLOWSHIP ONLY WITH THE LORD

1 Corinthians 10:21  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.

THE TWELVE WERE WITH HIM

Luke 22:13-14  And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.  14  And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

JESUS COMMANDED JUDAS

John 13:27  And … Then said Jesus unto him (Judas), That thou doest, do [aorist active imperative] quickly.

JUDAS OBEY THE COMMAND

John 13:30  He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

JUDAS WAS GONE

John 13:31  Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

JUDAS’ SOUL PERISHED

John 17:12  … those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost [apollumi, perished], but the son (meaning maturity) of perdition [apwleia, from perish, ruin, waste] ; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

JUDAH ERRED FROM THE TRUTH

James 5:19-20  Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;  20  Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death [qanatov (soul death)], and shall hide a multitude of sins.

SPOKEN TO SAVED DISCIPLES

Matthew 10:28  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him (God) which is able to destroy [apollumi, perish] both soul and body in hell [Gehenna, (figurative)].

THE ELEVEN CALLED LITTLE CHILDREN

John 13:33  Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

COMMUNION/BREAKING OF BREAD

Matthew 26:26-28  And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.  27  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;  28  For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

HATH ETERNAL LIFE

John 6:54  Whoso eateth [present active] my flesh, and drinketh [present active] my blood, hath [present active of ecw, esteemeth, regardeth] eternal [agelasting (kingdom)] life; and I will raise him up at the last day (seventh day the millennium).

HATH/HOLDETH

Matthew 21:26  [nasb] But if we say, 'From men,' we fear the people; for they all regard [present active of ecw, esteem regard] John as a prophet.

TOOK

Philemon 1:17  If then you regard [present active of ecw, esteem regard] me (Paul) a partner, accept him [Onesimus] as you would me.

HATH

1 John 5:12  He that hath [present active of ecw, counteth, esteem regard] the Son hath [present active of ecw, counteth, esteem regard] life; and he that hath [present active of ecw, counteth, regardeth] not the Son of God hath [present active of ecw, counteth, regardeth] not life.

THAT THEY MAY ESTEEM LIFE

1 John 5:13  These things have I written unto you that believe [present active indicative] on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have [present active of ecw, esteem regard] eternal [agelasting (kingdom)] life, and that ye may believe [present active indicative] on the name of the Son of God.

HE THAT BELIEVETH

John 6:47  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth [present active participle (spirit of faith)] on me hath [present active of ecw, esteem regard] everlasting life.

BELIEVETH – SPIRIT OF FAITH

2 Corinthians 4:13  We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed [aorist active], and therefore have I spoken [aorist active]; we also believe [present active (continue believing)], and therefore speak [present active (continue speaking];

AGELASTING LIFE RECEIVED IS FUTURE

Mark 10:30  But he shall receive [aorist active subjunctive] an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world [age] to come [present passive participle] eternal [agelasting (kingdom)] life.
