DRUNKEN SERVANT

46. The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers [apistos, faithless and not pleasing God].

47. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. (judgment)

48. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."

NOT APPOINTED TO WRATH

DELIVERING US FROM WRATH

WRATH

ALL THE HEARING ARE CALLED

Knowing therefore the terror [fobov, fear] of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences."

THE HEARING ARE ACCOUNTABLE

Matthew 13:9-11 "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10. And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11. THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT OF GOD

6. Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7. To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8. But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,"

ISRAEL JUDGED

Hebrews 3:10-11 "Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)"

LET US LABOR

Hebrews 4:9-11 "There remaineth therefore a [seventh day] rest to the people of God.

10. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

11. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief."
