Hebrews 2:10-12
"For it became him (the Father), for whom are all things,
and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons (heirs
of salvation, 1:14) unto glory, to make the captain of their
(sons) salvation (inherited salvation, so great salvation) perfect
through sufferings.
11.
For both he (Jesus)
that sanctifieth and they (sons) who are sanctified are
all of one: for which cause he (the captain, the Son) is not
ashamed to call them (heirs of salvation) brethren,
12.
Saying, I will
declare thy name (Father) unto my brethren, in the midst of the
church will I sing praise unto thee (the Father).
Hebrews 2:13.
”And again, I will put my trust in him (the
Father). And again, Behold I and the children [little children
(who will enter the kingdom, Mt 18:3)] which God (the Father)
hath given me.
Hebrews 2:14.
“Forasmuch
then as the children [little children (who will be great in the
kingdom, Mt 18:4)] are partakers of flesh and blood, he (the Son)
also himself likewise took part of the same; that through [the]
death [qanatov,
thanatos]
he might destroy [render ineffective] him (the serpent)
that had the power of [the] death, that is, the devil;

FEAR OF PERISHING

Romans 5:8-10

THE OFFENCE
Romans 5:15

one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto [the] many."
FALLING AWAY

have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to
come, 6. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto
repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put
him to an open shame."

numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made

tarry ye here, and watch."
THE CUP

"And he said, Abba, Father,
all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup (thanatos
death) from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt."

strengthening him. 44. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly:
and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the

AT THE THRONE OF GRACE
Hebrews 4:15-16 "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with
the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we
are, yet without sin. 16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the
throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need."
