PAUL’S GOSPEL
  Sunday Morning:
  January 5, 2003
  Text:
  Galatians 1:10-12
"For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if
I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

  11.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not
  after man.

  12.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the
  revelation of Jesus Christ."
Romans 16:25-26  "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to
my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept
  secret since the world began,

  26.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the
prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made
known to all nations (Gentiles) for the obedience (being
  just) of (living by) faith:"
  Ephesians 3:3, 5-6  "How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery;
  . . .”
  5.

Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is
  now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

  6.

That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body,
and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"
Romans 2:16  "In the day when God shall judge the secrets
of (saved) men by Jesus Christ (the judgment seat of Christ 2
Cor. 5:10) according to my gospel."
  1 Corinthians 3:12-15

"Now if any man build upon this
  foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

  13.

Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare
it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every
man's work of what sort it is.

  14.

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive
  a reward.

  15.

If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss:
but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
2 Corinthians 5:9-11  "Wherefore we labour [ambitious], that, whether
present or absent, we may be accepted [well pleasing] of him.

  10.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath
done, whether it be good or bad.

  11.

Knowing therefore the terror [fear] of the Lord, we persuade
  men; . . ."
2 John 1:8  "Look to yourselves, that we lose
not those things which we have wrought [labored for], but that
  we receive a full reward."
Revelation 3:11  "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that
  no man take thy crown."
Matthew 10:5-7  "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying,
Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the
Samaritans enter ye not: 6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the
house of Israel. 7. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom
of heaven is at hand." (Not a common salvation message.)
2 Timothy 2:7-12  "Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding
  in all things.

  8.

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from
the dead according to my gospel:

  9.

Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the
word of God is not bound.

  10.

Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also
obtain [to attain or secure] the salvation which is in
Christ Jesus with eternal [agelasting] glory.

  11.
  It is
a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we
  shall also live with him:

  12.

If we suffer [endure], we shall also reign with him:
if we deny him, he also will deny us:"
  REWARD OF
  RIGHTEOUSNESS
Romans 4:4-8  "Now to him that worketh (present middle, only, no
faith) is the reward not reckoned of grace (by faith), but
  of debt.

  5.

But to him that worketh not, but believeth [present active] on
him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

  6.

Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God
imputeth righteousness without works (alone apart from faith),

  7.
  Saying,
Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven,
and whose sins are covered. 8. Blessed is the man to whom the
  Lord will not impute sin."
Acts 13:34  "And as concerning that he raised him up from the
dead, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of
  David."
Romans 4:25  "Who was delivered (the cross) for our
offences, and was raised again (to God’s right hand) for our
  justification."
Psalms 32:1-2  "Blessed is he whose transgression
is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
  2. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not
iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile."
Psalms 32:5  "I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and
mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my
transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my
  sin. Selah."
1 John 1:7-9  "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light,
we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his
Son cleanseth us from all sin.

  8.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in
  us.

  9.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just
to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from
  all unrighteousness."
1 Chronicles 20:1-2  "And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at
the time that kings go out to battle, . . .But David
tarried at Jerusalem (with Bathsheba not mentioned). And
Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it. 2. And David took
the crown of their king from off his head, . . . and it was set
  upon David's head:. . ."
  JUDGED ACCORDING TO PAUL’S GOSPEL
Romans 2:6-9  "Who will render [reward, give] to every man
according to his deeds [works, labor]:

7. [agelasting life] To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality [incorruption], eternal [agelasting] life: [goes at the beginning of the verse]
Galatians 6:8-9  "For he that soweth (is to labor) to his flesh
shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth (is to
labor) to the Spirit (little “s” in spirit. This is the Abba
spirit of His Son, not the Holy Spirit) of
shall of the Spirit (Abba spirit) reap life
everlasting (incorruption). 9. And let us not be weary in
well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
  2 Thessalonians 2:13-14
"But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved
of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
(the glory of our Lord, v.14) through sanctification of the Spirit and
  belief of the truth:

  14.

  Whereunto
(salvation with glory v.13) he called you by our gospel,
to the obtaining (purchase, it cost us, it cost Paul) of the
glory of our Lord Jesus Christ (the glory of Christ’s throne, Rev. 3:21)."
  8.

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey
the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

  9.

  Tribulation
and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew
  first, and also of the Gentile;

Romans 2:16  "In the day when God shall judge the secrets
of (saved) men by Jesus Christ (the judgment seat of Christ 2
Cor. 5:10) according to my gospel."
Colossians 1:27-28  "To whom God would make known what is the riches of
  the glory of this mystery (Paul’s gospel) among the Gentiles;
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 28. Whom we preach,
warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that
we may present every (saved) man perfect [complete]
  in Christ Jesus:"
