Philippians 3:5-6  "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee; 6. Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless."

Galatians 1:13-14  "For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: 14. And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers."

1 Thessalonians 2:7-8  "But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: 8. So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us."

Called Matthew 13:9-11  "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. 10. And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11. He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you (who have ears) to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (that have no ears) it is not given."

Matthew 22:14  "For many are called, but few are chosen [called out]."

1 Thessalonians 2:12  "That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory."

Romans 11:13  "For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:"

Galatians 2:7-8  "But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; 8. (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)"

1 Corinthians 9:1-2  "Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord? 2. If I be not an apostle unto others, yet doubtless I am to you: for the seal of mine apostleship are ye in the Lord."
