Text: 1 John 2:12-14 "I write [present active] unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
13. I write [present active] unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known [ginwskw, growing knowledge] the Father.
14. I have written [aorist active] unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written [aorist active] unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one."
1 John 2:21 "I have not written unto you because ye know [oida, certain knowledge] not the truth, but because ye know [oida, certain knowledge] it [the truth], and that no lie is of the truth."
John 16:13 "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of [the] truth, is come, he will guide you into all [the] truth: ...: and he will show you things to come."

John 17:1 "... Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:"
John 17:2-3 "As thou (Father) hast given him (Son) power over all flesh, that he (Son) should give eternal life to as many as [little children] thou (Father) hast given him (the Son). 3. And this is life eternal, that they [little children] might know thee (Father) the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou (Father) hast sent."
John 17:6 "I (Son) have manifested thy (Father) name unto the men (little children) which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they (little children) were, and thou (Father) gavest them (little children) me (Son); and they (little children) have kept thy (Father) word."
Matthew 18:3-4 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
1 John 2:24 "Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard (agelasting life) from the beginning. If that which ye have heard (agelasting life) from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father."
