Text:  Hebrews 3:4-6  For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.  5  And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;  6  But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

COMMON SALVATION

Acts 16:31  And they said, Believe [aorist active imperative] on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

BORN INTO THE FAMILY

John 3:3  Jesus answered … Except a man be born again [from above], he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Romans 8:17  And if children [teknon, mature children], then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Matthew 10:25  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

LIVING STONES, SPIRITUAL HOUSE

1 Peter 2:4-5  To whom coming, as unto a living [present active adjective] stone (corner stone, v 6), disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,  5 Ye also, as lively [present active participle, living] stones (with a lively hope 1:3), are built up [present active indicative] a spiritual house (Christ house), an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

BEGOTTEN AGAIN UNTO A LIVELY HOPE

1 Peter 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

BEGOTTEN AGAIN BY THE WORD OF GOD

1 Peter 1:23   Being born again [begotten again], not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God (mysteries of the kingdom Luke 8:10-11), which liveth and abideth for ever.

KINGDOM TAKEN FOR LACK OF FRUIT

Matthew 21:43  Therefore say I unto you (the house of Israel), The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

THOSE WHO ABIDE BEAR FRUIT

John 15:4-6  Abide [aorist active imperative] in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear [present active] fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.  5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth [aorist active subjunctive] in me, and I in him, the same bringeth [present active] forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  6  If a man abide [present active] not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered [aorist passive indicative]; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

NO FRUIT EXCEPT THE SEED DIE

John 12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth [present active] alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth [beareth, present active] much fruit.

THE SOWING OF HIS SEED

Luke 8:5  A [the] sower went out to sow [present active infinitive] his seed: (individuals that belong to the sower)

MYSTERIES OF THE KINGDOM VEILED

Luke 8:5c .. as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it (seeds, not plants) was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it (the seeds).

THE DID NOT UNDERSTAND

Matthew 13:11  … is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

VEIL REMOVED IN CHRIST

2 Corinthians 3:14  But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away … which veil is done away in Christ.

LORD, WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE ME DO

2 Corinthians 3:16  Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord (Acts 9:5-6, 18), the veil shall be taken away.

VEIL DONE AWAY, THEY UNDERSTOOD

Luke 8:6  And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it (plant, from the seed that died) was sprung up, it (the plant) withered away, (no fruit bearing) because it (the plant) lacked moisture (was not watered).

VEIL TAKEN AWAY, THEY UNDERSTOOD

Luke 8:7  And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it (plant from the seed), and choked it (the plant could not bear fruit).

THESE CONTINUED IN CHRIST

Luke 8:8  And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And … he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

CHOSEN TO BE FRUITFUL

John 15:16  Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain;

FRUIT OF THE VINE

Judges 9:13  And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheereth God and man …?

THOSE WHO DIE ARE NEW CREATURES

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

THE PLANTING OF A SEED BY BAPTISM

Romans 6:4-5  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  5  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, …

A NEW A LIVELY WAY

Hebrews 10:19-20  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,  20  By a new and living [present active, lively] way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 

THE COMMAND, CONTINUE IN HIM

1 John 2:28  And now, little children, abide [present active imperative, continue] in him (Christ); that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before [apo, away from] him at his coming.

ONE IN CHRIST

Galatians 3:28  There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

ONE BODY

Ephesians 4:4-5 There is one body, and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;  5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

THE MANY ARE ONE BODY

Romans 12:5  So we, being [the] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
