This is the first occurrence of the Hebrew word \b\i keliy\b0\i0 [\ul H3627\ulnone *] translated here as "Jewels". The Holy Spirit choose the word \b\i keliy\b0\i0 to help the Church understand, by type and application, what her Heavenly Father has provided for her, to successfully complete the journey from her earthly home to her heavenly inheritance. \b\i Keliy\b0\i0 means \b\i something\i0 \i prepared\b0\i0 . Rebekah received something that was prepared for her. What was prepared for her is found in the way that the word is translated in other passages of the Old Testament. The Hebrew word \b\i keliy\b0\i0 can be found in Strong's Hebrew dictionary under the number 3627. You will find that these jewels are not some valuable items that you would place on your fingers, ears, or wrists. In type, Eleazer provided Rebekah, the bride of Isaac, with jewels for her journey to help us learn what the Holy Spirit has provided the Church, the Bride of Christ, for her journey. \par \pard\keepn\s1\sb240\sa60\qc\kerning28\b\i "KELIY\i0 "\par \pard\nowidctlpar\qj\kerning0 It is translated JEWELS \b0 a total of 21 times in 17 verses. \par \pard\nowidctlpar\sb60\qj\b It is translated ARMOUR \b0 in \cf1\ul 1Sa_14:1\cf0\ulnone and then 11 times in 11 verses.\par \b It is translated ARTILLERY\b0 in \cf1\ul 1Sa_20:40\cf0\ulnone . \par \b It is translated BAG\b0 twice. And the servant \i had \i0 said, It \i is \i0 my master: therefore she took a veil, and covered herself." The Bride of Christ also has raiment to cover her self as well.\b \cf1\ul\b0 Rev_19:8\cf0\ulnone\b \b0 "And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness [righteous acts] of saints."\par \pard\nowidctlpar\sb60\qj\b NOTE:\b0 It is very interesting that Rebekah's brother and mother, both in the family, were not given jewels of silver and gold, nor raiment, but they were given precious things. It could be that Rebekah's brother and mother are a type of Abraham's earthly seed. Rebekah and Isaac are a type of Abraham's heavenly seed. In \cf1\ul Gen_22:17\cf0\ulnone "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply \b thy seed\b0 as the \b stars of the heaven\b0 , and as the \b sand which \i is \i0 upon the sea shore;\b0 and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;" \cf1\ul Neh_9:23\cf0\ulnone "Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to theiLVAL%r fathers, that they should go in to possess \i it."\i0 Both the earthly and heavenly seed will possess the gates of their enemies.\par \pard\keepn\s1\sb240\sa60\qc\kerning28\b HOW IMPORTANT ARE THE JEWELS?\par \pard\nowidctlpar\qj\kerning0\b0 God revealed to Moses, on the back side of the desert at the burning bush, His plan to deliver the Nation of Israel. \cf1\ul Exo_3:19-2\cf0\ulnone\b 0\b0 "And \b I am sure\b0 that the king of Egypt WILL NOT LET YOU GO, no, not by a mighty hand. In type, the sons and daughters were well equipped to meet any challenge that might come their way in their journey to the land flowing with milk and honey. Not only did they pass through the wilderness, they entered the land of Canaan, and conquered the land by faith. \par \pard\keepn\s1\sb240\sa60\qc\kerning28\b MOSES AND THE PARENTS\par \pard\nowidctlpar\qj\cf1\kerning0\ul\b0 Gal_3:23-25\cf0\ulnone "But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster \i to bring us \i0 unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster." The first and last act of faith, by the parents, was at the Red Sea. \cf1\ul Heb_11:29\cf0\ulnone "By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry \i land: \i0 which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned." The next act of faith was done by the sons and daughters at Jericho. \cf1\ul Heb_11:30\cf0\ulnone "By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days." Faith was shut up to the sons and daughters during the time that the Law was given to Moses and while they waited for Mom and Dad to die. The sons and daughters were in school in the wilderness. After the first five books of the Bible were written by Moses and given to Joshua, the signs (\ul cloud , fire, manna, etc.\ulnone ) went away. Then the sons and daughters began to live by faith and not by sight.\par \pard\keepn\s1\sb240\sa60\qc\kerning28\b OUR RESPONSIBILITY\par \pard\nowidctlpar\qj\cf1\kerning0\ul\b0 Eph_6:13-17\cf0\ulnone "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
